Dan Coole is the Managing Director at Surgical Holdings, an innovative British manufacturer, repairer and distributor of Surgical Instruments and orthopaedic implants. Dan started in the Medical Device industry in 1995, training as a Surgical Instrument Technician, then moving to Quality Manager and qualifying as a lead auditor for ISO 9001 at the age of 18. Over the past 15 years, Dan has worked alongside his team to develop Surgical Holdings into a well-respected, high quality brand, selling into hospitals across the UK and across the World through their Distributor network.

Dan also Chairs the Surgical Instrument Special Interest Section at the Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI), the UK’s leading industry association for health technology, supporting the Health Technology community to save and enhance lives.
Ellie Wishart
Ultrasound Probe Expert
As Medical Affairs Manager for UK & IRE for Nanosonics, Ellie Wishart is responsible for engaging with thought leaders and key organisations on infection prevention & decontamination topics and coordinating the regional podium strategy and educational activities. Ellie works closely with the sales & marketing teams to empower education, practical knowledge and best practices in Infection Prevention and decontamination.
Ellie has a degree in Microbiology from University College Dublin, Ireland and has been involved in the provision of Infection Prevention solutions to Healthcare facilities for over 20 years in a previous role and has worked as Microbiology Laboratory Manager and Life Sciences & Medical Device Cleanroom consultant.
Gavin McKeon
Low Temperature Expert
Gavin is UK & Ireland Sales and Service Manager at Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP). Gavin has 15 years’ experience within Medical Devices and Decontamination across various modalities, specialising in Low Temperature Sterilization since 2014. He is dedicated to ensuring all healthcare staff and facilities have access to the right products and educational support, and the correct tools to enable healthcare staff to complete their tasks as effectively and efficiently as possible, all while maintaining the highest levels of patient care quality.
